Originally founded and still owned by Paris-based business man, Emmanuel Chamboredon, Milan Records has established itself through the years as one of the leading label specialized in the release of soundtracks to film, television, and even videogames from all around the world.
From the global success of Ghost in 1990(12 million copies sold worldwide) to the recent release of Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s Birdman (2014 Academy Award Winner for Best Film and Best Director), Milan Records has been working with some of the most talented composers in the business such as Cliff Martinez, Clint Mansell, James Horner, Max Richter, Tyler Bates, Carter Burwell and many more.
With offices in Paris and Los Angeles Milan Records is distributed worldwide by Warner Music International and by Universal Music in France. Milan Records has released soundtracks to films by 20th Century Fox, Paramount, Universal, MGM, Sony Pictures and Universal.
Some of recent releases include Jon Favreau’s “Chef”, Nicolas Winding Refn’s “Onl y God Forgives”, Steven Soderbergh’s “The Knick”, “The Longest Ride”, the horror hit “It Follows”, Stuart Murdoch’s “God Help The Girl”, Jonathan Glazer’s “Under The Skin”. Our upcoming schedule includes the soundtrack to 20th Century Fox’s Spy – the new film by Paul Feig (The Heat, Bridesmaids) starring Melissa McCarthy.
